Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC)
The Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) is a world-class venue designed to host large-scale international events and heavy industry exhibitions. With more than one million square feet of versatile exhibition space and impressive triple-volume halls, MITEC stands as the largest exhibition centre in Malaysia. The venue is capable of accommodating up to 47,700 visitors in theatre-style seating or 28,300 guests in banquet-style arrangements at a single time.
As the central feature of KL Metropolis, MITEC forms the heart of a 75.5-acre integrated development, envisioned as a “city within a city” where business, commerce, living, and connectivity come together. The development features premium office spaces, residential properties, hotels, retail outlets, and urban green areas, and is set to emerge as one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic destinations, with improved accessibility through the upcoming MRT Circle Line.
how to get there?
By Car
Traveling by car is the most convenient way to reach MITEC. If you are driving, several major highways provide easy and direct access to the venue, including the Duta–Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE), Sungai Besi–Ulu Klang Elevated Expressway (SUKE), New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), and the Sprint Expressway. For parking, visitors may use the on-site parking facilities at MITEC, offering immediate access to the exhibition halls. Alternatively, parking is also available at nearby facilities within the KL Metropolis development, all located within a short walking distance from the convention centre.
BY foot
If you are staying within the KL Metropolis precinct or nearby areas, MITEC can easily be reached on foot. The venue is directly connected to the MATRADE Exhibition & Convention Centre and can be accessed through covered pedestrian walkways within KL Metropolis. Several nearby hotels and office buildings are also located within a short walking distance, providing convenient access for visitors attending events at MITEC without the need for additional transportation.
BY train
To reach the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) by train, you can take the MRT Putrajaya Line and alight at Segambut MRT Station, followed by a short taxi or e-hailing ride to the venue. Alternatively, visitors may take the LRT to PWTC Station and continue the journey by taxi or e-hailing service to MITEC. For those arriving from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), take the KLIA Express to KL Sentral, then transfer to the MRT towards Segambut, or take a direct taxi or e-hailing ride to MITEC for a more convenient trip.
